Northwards Docu series on Rai TV

On the occasion of the World Environment Day, Terry Callaghan and Giorgio Lupano were interviewed by RAI (Italian National TV Broadcaster) to tell about INTERACT, explaining the work and scope of the network of research stations to support and advance scientific understanding of the Arctic environment and the rapid changes occuring in the region.

NORTWARDS docu series, of which you can see some shots in this video, explores the work behind Arctic science, telling about the logistical challenges of conducting research in hostile and remote places, but also how science intertwins with local knowledge and Indigenous peoples living in the Arctic, who experience at first hand the land and its transformations.

NORTHWARDS docuseries was aired on Rai Scuola last week and will available worldwide on RaiPlay on-demand platform. Meanwhile, you can watch the english and italian versions of the series on INTERACT youtube channel.
