How we work

INPA is composed of Members (station representatives), a Board of Directors, and the association’s staff.

Decisions are made by the Associated Members. During the Annual General Assembly, Members agree on the yearly Action Plan, describing the activities and initiatives Directors and staff will undertake during the following year.

Members’ General Assembly elects the Board of Directors that is delegated to track progress and carry on INPA activities in order to accomplish the Action Plan. The Board is led by a Chair, who is also appointed every year.

For his outstanding work in promoting Arctic scientific cooperation for more than 50 years and his crucial role in the creation of the INTERACT network, Prof. Terry Callaghan is the Honorary President of INTERACT Non-Profit Association.

The staff of INTERACT Non-Profit Association is dedicated to managing INTERACT day-to-day coordination activities, contracted tasks and mission-driven initiatives.
