INPA at Warsaw Science Festival 2024

The screening of The Changing Global Arctic took place at the Warsaw Science Festival on September 21st, 2024, at the Main Campus of Warsaw University.

Agata Gozdzik (Instytut Geofizyki PAN, INPA member) introduced the INTERACT network and its goals, while Prof. Mateusz Strzelecki, featured in the episode "Extreme Causes for Concern", shared additional photos from his research in Greenland on coastal processes impacted by thawing permafrost.

Following the screening, there was a lively and engaging discussion, primarily focused on climate change, with further questions on tsunami modeling, landslide monitoring, and warning systems for local communities.
